Imagine the feeling.
To be a sailor lost at sea, days spent with nothing but the undrinkable ocean all around you.
Until one day one of your crew members spots land towards the East, Imagine the escalation and joy the whole crew would feel at this point, only to realise that the tide is too strong on this foreign coast, that you can sale in but not out, that all you can see in front of you a vast emptiness of a desert coast.
The despair and anguish would be surreal, to go from a sailors worst dream of being lost at sea, to being lost in a desert.
